After surviving a serious motor vehicle accident as a teenager, Joanna Eubanks was inspired to help others who have sustained injuries. She understood the emotional distress and wanted to ensure those injured would receive the fair compensation they deserved. Joanna’s law practice is built on the core principle that each client is a person and not a file.
Joanna Eubanks graduated with a B.A. in Social Science from York University in 2005. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Sussex in Brighton, England where she received her LL.B. After successfully completing the accreditation program, articles and bar examinations, Joanna was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012.
Her practice is dedicated primarily to Plaintiff personal injury law including Motor Vehicle Accident litigation and Slip and Falls. She has an active Accident Benefit practice, successfully removing many clients from the Minor Injury Guideline. Joanna also practices Employment Law and Wills and Estate Planning.
Joanna appears before the Criminal Injury Compensation Board on behalf of victims of crimes. She assists victims of crimes committed in Ontario receive compensation for their injuries.
Joanna also appears regularly in Small Claims Court and the Superior Court of Justice. She has also conducted mediations and pre-arbitration hearings at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.
As an active member of her community, Joanna mentors youths and volunteers with senior citizen groups in the Brampton area. She is also a motivational speaker and avid traveller, enjoying many rich cultures around the world.
